Due to a high rate of skin cell turnover, psoriasis is a chronic, immune-mediated inflammatory disease that mostly affects the skin and presents as red, scaly patches. Though there is presently no cure, there are effective management methods despite the effects on quality of life. This study examines different approaches to treating psoriasis, ranging from systemic medications such as methotrexate and the biologics for serious presentations to topical medicines such as Replacements of the vitamin D compound and cortisone for mild towards moderate instances. Phototherapy can be utilized to treat mild psoriasis. which includes PUVA additionally narrowband UVB Counselling is useful.
