Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) is a core framework for ensuring the quality, integrity, and reliability of non-clinical laboratory research, particularly in toxicology, environmental safety, and pharmaceuticals. This review paper covers GLPs essential ideas and standards, focusing on its contribution to the improvement of standardized procedures, tight quality control, and ethical research practices. We discuss the benefits of GLP, which include improved data integrity, regulatory compliance, and better inter-laboratory communication. The essay examines the usage of GLP guidelines, the significance of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and the importance of continual staff training. Future trends in laboratory practices and the difficulties encountered in adhering to GLP are also discussed. This study seeks to offer insights for academics, regulatory agencies, and industry stakeholders dedicated to maintaining high standards in laboratory operations by emphasizing the crucial role that GLP plays in guaranteeing scientific legitimacy and public safety.
